| Bio: | I'm Jan, a would-be novelist from the North of England. I have a lovely family and work part time being nice to people and getting paid for the pleasure. I work for MNFF as a moderator, I write Harry Potter Fanfiction and am currently working on a novel of love, lust and betrayal set in Eighteenth Century London. I'm historically minded and have an interest Living History. I'm a recent convert to the pleasures of making Dorset buttons and researching and making historical costume. I also read, a lot, and my bookshelves have long-since overflowed. I tend to read historical non-fiction and selective historical fiction - no Phillipa Gregory! I also have a strange and unhealthy obsession with the second Earl of Scarborough. ;-) |
